Niels and Aela

Yes, I did name my Norn character after my own name XD But that was after I found out that Niels is actually a Norn name in the game

I created him to be a Werewolf stealth archer with Alteration magic. Along with a twist: He can use Voice combos and beat up dragons with his fists! The reason how I"m able to do that is thanks to this guide: theskyrimblog.ning.com/group/c… Serieusly, I've had the most fun in Skyrim so far! The reason I didn't get far with him first was because I hated the blacksmithing and item collecting. So. Friggen. Much! The trick with the fists allows me to always have the best amount of damage available Though at the cost of low range, but the fun part is being a lightly armored stealth archer with a ton of skill in using the voice. And if you don't feel like stealth killing then just go Werewolf, slaughter them, eat their hearts, and loot their corpses once the duration wears off >:3

The way I designed him was that he was a fun loving guy that just enjoyed life, so not your stereotypical monk. I like the idea of monks who are more free spirited, much like Aela, who enjoy life and every moment of it and want to life it by it's fullest. Though ones that ofcourse still meditate and gain control over their spirit and body. The reason he became that was in order to "control" the beast. But he then found out that it was much better to "guide" and "direct" the beast, and let it go from time to times as well, just let it all out. With his training in mind and body to guide the beast properly so he doesn't hurt any innocents (yeah, he's a nice guy, but a nice guy who isn't a up tight ass XD). He fights with his fists because he always liked doing that (Im gonna punch dat dragon in the face!!!!), and his werewolf blessing made him faster and stronger in human form as well allowing him to actually be able to use his fists properly in actuall combat (which is my tribute to that he had to become a werewolf to take advantage of that "Werewolf glitch" and make him a monk in the first place. He's not opposed to having a family with Aela in the future either, he's a person who doesn't shy away from responsibility, yet tries to make the most pleasant out of it. Kinda like he would always have his responsibilities, yet knows when to take a break from it shortly and relax himself (aka often going into the wild and hunting and slaughtering Thalmor, or make love to Aela). I also imagined that the Werewolf curse (you can howl and use powers that way), somehow makes it more fluent to work the voice, hence why I think the stacking of amulets of Thalmor would be more justified (In the guide, you stack braces for melee damage with the fists of steel perk, while wearing light armor. And you stack amulets of thalos to shorten your shout cooldown). So he's sort of a self taught monk (with teachings from the previous monk classes in the Elder scrolls), who learned to control his body, mind, and the voice, and whose werewolf "blessing" helps him in those things and is the reason he became that way. He's not without flaws mind you, he's pretty much like any character that a lot of player play. Like in that he does stupid things that players who play the game also do XD (trust me, I did a lot of stupid player things XD And I guess you could see that as Niels having to learn how to prepare and fight). At first he just charges in and fights people with his fists, but later on uses like stealth archery and runes and thinks things through. Also while he fights with his fists to prevent loss of life, on the other hand he kills without thought if it is necesarry (not innocents, but he's like all cheerfull and fights with his fists on one hand, and suddenly goes werewolf and slaughters bandits like it's nothing). Sort of a contrast in that. Hence why he's also an assassin archer. Oh, and ofcourse he likes to go in werewolf and then slaughter stuff to "relax". Sort of like a realistic and life and pleasure loving monk XD But most of all he is also a werewolf and with Aela ofcourse After his adventures in Skyrim he wants to create his own order and use the Lycan "blessing" on those that want to be taught, so that they too can teach the voice without the Dragonborn blood or a innate talent for the voice. That and also spent a lot of quality time with Aela!
